Spring is on its way to Forsyth County

Springtime in Forsyth County GA

This weekend we spring forward. Be sure to get some extra sleep to help your body cope with the time change better. Experts suggest you stick to your normal bed time and wake up with the sun if possible. Since it will stay light later into the evening and darker in the morning, sticking to your normal sleep routine may be difficult.

This time of year is especially difficult on teens and pre-teens who now must get to the bus stop in the dark. Their bodies, which need at least 8-10 hours of sleep per night, really struggle with the time change. Parents should keep this in mind and help where possible. It is not easy but we will get through this time change.

Plus, it looks like we have one more blast of close to freezing weather coming through in the middle of this week. Bundle up, hopefully for the last time this year so we can head into a beautiful, warmer Spring time!

Stay in touch.
